Free Slideshow Maker is a compact tool that is able to create a video slideshow with just a few clicks. You just need to select the images that you want to include and click one button in order to generate the slideshow.
With Free Slideshow Maker, you can simply add your photos and music, hit some buttons and with seconds, an animated slideshow will be generated. The file size makes it easy to send your photo stories in an e-mail or take them with you on a portable device.
This application allows you to process all your images in just a few minutes.
The interface is easy to use and allows you to select the images and audio files that you want to use. It supports JPEG and bitmap images and allows you to use MP3 or WAV files for the soundtrack.
You can fine tune the output file by specifying the frame rate and the size of the video which comes in handy when you create the slideshow for larger displays. Unfortunately it cannot generate images above 1280x960 and only supports the 4:3 aspect ratio.
When creating the video the program automatically adds a transition effect between the images. Although the app includes more than sixty animations, it does not allow you to choose which one you want to use for one of the images. You can either use a random effect or the same transition between all the photos from the video.
